Perennial. Stolons present. Culms erect; 5-15 cm long. Leaves mostly basal. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 0.5-1 mm long. Leaf-blades flat, or involute; 4-8 cm long; 1 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scaberulous; rough adaxially. Leaf-blade margins scaberulous. Leaf-blade apex attenuate.
