Morphology General Habit
Annual; culms solitary, or caespitose. Culms geniculately ascending; 4-40 cm long; 3-4 -noded. Leaf-sheaths glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 2-4 mm long; erose; truncate. Leaf-blades 0.7-12 cm long; 0.8-8 mm wide. Leaf-blade apex acuminate.
