Morphology General Habit
Annual. Culms erect, or geniculately ascending; 60-150 cm long. Lateral branches lacking. Ligule an eciliate membrane. Leaf-blades 15-30 cm long; 2-6 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface glabrous.
