Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose. Culms erect; 20-60 cm long. Leaf-sheaths ribbed; smooth. Ligule an eciliate membrane. Leaf-blades filiform; involute; 3-9 cm long; 0.5-1 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface smooth.
