Morphology General Habit
Perennial. Rhizomes elongated. Culms erect; 100-150 cm long. Culm-internodes smooth, or scaberulous. Leaves cauline. Leaf-sheaths scaberulous; glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 4-5 mm long; scaberulous on abaxial surface. Leaf-blades 5-20 cm long; 5-9 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface smooth.
