Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose; clumped loosely. Culms erect, or geniculately ascending; slender; 5-54 cm long; 1-3 -noded. Lateral branches lacking. Leaves mostly basal. Leaf-sheaths glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 0.5-1.4 mm long; truncate, or obtuse. Leaf-blades filiform; involute; 2-9.5 cm long; 0.4-1 mm wide.
