Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose. Culms erect; 75 cm long. Lateral branches lacking. Leaf-sheaths antrorsely scabrous; glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 2-3.5 mm long; acute. Leaf-blades filiform; conduplicate, or involute; 6-15 cm long; 1.5-2 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scabrous.
