Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose. Cataphylls evident. Rhizomes short. Culms erect; 30-60 cm long; 0.8-1.2 mm diam.; 4-5 -noded. Culm-internodes antrorsely scabrous. Leaves cauline. Leaf-sheaths tight; smooth; glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 1-1.5 mm long. Leaf-blades 10-30 cm long; 3-6 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface smooth.
