Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose. Culms erect; 20-50 cm long; 1 mm diam. Culm-internodes smooth; distally glabrous. Lateral branches lacking. Leaf-sheaths papillose. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 1-3 mm long; lacerate; truncate. Leaf-blades filiform; convolute; 10-20 cm long; 0.5 mm wide. Leaf-blade venation with 8 secondary veins. Leaf-blade surface scabrous; rough adaxially. Leaf-blade margins scabrous. Leaf-blade apex obtuse.
