Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose; clumped densely. Rhizomes short. Culms erect; 10-50 cm long. Culm-internodes distally glabrous. Lateral branches lacking. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 2-3 mm long; obtuse. Leaf-blades flat, or involute; 2-3 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scabrous; rough adaxially.
