Annual. Culms erect, or geniculately ascending; 5-15 cm long. Culm-nodes pubescent. Leaf-sheaths longer than adjacent culm internode. Ligule a ciliolate membrane; 1-1.5 mm long. Leaf-blades 3-7 cm long; 1-3 mm wide.
