Annual; caespitose. Culms erect, or geniculately ascending; 10-25 cm long. Leaf-sheaths hirsute. Ligule an eciliate membrane. Leaf-blades 2-5 cm long; 1 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface hirsute. Leaf-blade apex acuminate.
