Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose. Culms erect; 40-80 cm long; 3-5 -noded. Leaf-sheaths glabrous on surface, or pilose. Leaf-sheath auricles absent, or falcate. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 1.5 mm long; truncate. Leaf-blades 3.5-6 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scabrous; rough abaxially; pubescent; hairy adaxially, or on both sides. Leaf-blade margins scabrous.
