Perennial; caespitose. Culms erect; slender; 10-50 cm long. Leaf-sheaths pubescent. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 0.5 mm long; truncate. Leaf-blades 1-4 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface glabrous, or puberulous.
