Perennial. Culms decumbent; 15-30 cm long; rooting from lower nodes. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 0.5 mm long; truncate. Leaf-blades 2-6 cm long; 2-4 mm wide. Leaf-blade margins tuberculate-ciliate. Leaf-blade apex acute.
