Leaf-sheath oral hairs bearded. Ligule a fringe of hairs. Leaf-blade base cordate. Leaf-blades lanceolate; 15-30 cm long; 1.8-3 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface glabrous, or pubescent. Leaf-blade margins ciliate.
