Leaves 6 or more in a basal fan, narrowly lanceolate to sublinear, 5-7 mm. wide, ± 2/3 to nearly as long as the stems, fairly soft-textured the stem bearing 2-3 leaves, these decreasing in size above, the upper subtending flower-clusters.
