Distribution
Range: Gabon, Congo, Central African Republic, Congo-Kinshasa, Rwanda, Zambia Range: Gabon, Congo, Central African Republic, Congo-Kinshasa, Rwanda, Zambia Flora districts: U2 Range: Uganda.
Ecology
Wet evergreen montane forest; 1200–1500 m
Note
Plants from Gabon to Congo and Rwanda have a corolla 8–11 mm long while in Kivu Province the corolla is 13–17 mm long. The Ugandan material (subsp. grandiflora) at first sight looks strikingly different from the Central African material, but really only differs in the larger corolla. The Uganda material falls into her “groupe 5”. Champluvier in B.J.B.B. 61: 131 (1991) divides the species into a number of informal groups also partly based on corolla size.

Native to:

Central African Repu, Congo, Gabon, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Zaïre
