Subshrub up to 80 cm tall, much branched

Stems densely pubescent with c. 0.5 mm long spreading hairs and often also with c. 0.5 mm long patent glandular hairs

Leaf-blades ovate, up to 14–41 x 10–20 mm, greyish green with a very dense indumentum of up to 0.8 mm long spreading 2-fid hairs, sometimes also with some glandular hairs especially at margins, apex obtuse to retuse, base shortly attenuate to truncate; petiole up to c. 3 mm long
