Morphology General Habit
Closely related to G. lindblomii but straggling, though with stouter stems and with erect, gland-tipped hairs on the stems, leaf-rhachis and, especially, the inflorescence-rhachis.

Stipules broadly ovate, 6–7 mm. long, with 3–5 unequal, very acute, triangular or ovate teeth, the outermost of which is deflexed; leaf-rhachis up to 17 cm. long; leaflets 15–19, elliptic-ovate, up to 45 mm. long and 20 mm. wide, ending in a mucro 1 mm. long, sparsely pilose on the midrib beneath.
