- Annual, with greenish or reddish branches, which are shortly white pubescent and also carry long straight spreading hairs.

- Leaves 1-foliolate; stipules asymmetrically ovate-lanceolate, 3–5 mm. long and 0.8–1.2 mm. wide; petiole 1–2 mm. long; blade elliptic-oblong or obovate, up to 11 or 17 mm. long and 6 or 9 mm. wide, appressed pubescent on both sides.
