- Morphology General Habit
- Short-lived semi-woody bushy plant ± 1 m. tall, sometimes prostrate, densely covered with fine soft silvery hairs which are often rather spreading.

- Stipules brown, filiform, 2–3 mm. long; rhachis up to 1 cm. long, including a petiole of 1–3 mm., not, or very shortly, prolonged beyond lateral leaflets; leaflets 3–7, rarely 9, narrowly oblong-cuneate or oblanceolate, up to 10 mm. long and 3 mm. wide.

- Racemes 5–20-flowered, up to 3 cm. long including a peduncle of up to 2 mm.; bracts linear ± 1 mm. long, caducous; pedicels ± 1 mm. long, erect, leaving a pronounced knob on falling off.
