Subshrubby herb 1.5–1.8 m tall; branches glandular, densely covered with very sticky yellow bristly tubercular-based hairs.

Leaves 20–30-foliolate; leaflets 4–9.5 × 1.5–2.5 mm, narrowly oblong, obtuse or obliquely subacute at the apex, obliquely rounded or slightly emarginate at the base, puberulous; margins ciliate, glandular; main nerve submarginal, 3–4 basal nerves not very marked; petiole and rhachis 2–3.5 cm long; petiolules very short; stipules 3.5 × 1.5 mm, ovate-lanceolate, scarious, ciliate, veined, persistent.
