Leaves sensitive, 6–8-foliolate; leaflets (5)9–18 × (1.5)2–4 mm, oblong or oblong-oblanceolate, slightly falcate, acute at the apex, obliquely rounded at the base, glabrous all over or with margins ciliate or ciliate-denticulate, 3–4 nerved from the base, petiole 5–16 mm long; rhachis 5–10 mm long; petiolules 0.5 mm long and wide; stipules joined at base for 3–4 mm, 8–16 × 1–2.5 mm, lanceolate, acute or acuminate, scarious, persistent, strongly veined, pubescent or glabrous, often dense and sheathing on the long shoots.
