Leaflets 3, the terminal oblong-elliptic, the laterals ovate-elliptic, 1–5 cm. long, 0·4–2·5 cm. wide, obtuse or subacute at the apex, narrowly rounded at the base, rather sparsely covered with long white adpressed hairs particularly along the margins, and also densely covered with microscopic black dots; petiole 1–6·5 cm. long; rhachis 1–3 mm. long; petiolules ± 1 mm. long; stipules conspicuous, persistent, ovate, (3–)7–10 mm. long, (2–)4–6 mm. wide, up to 15-veined.
