Morphology General Habit
Plants 80–150 cm high.

Rhizome short, thick, vertical, regularly constricted.

Leaves many, in an ascending basal rosette, linear-lanceolate, tapering towards base and apex, usually half-folded, 25–52 × 1.4–2.5 cm, glabrous, margins undulate.
