Tree to about 90 m with usually patchy orange-yellow, bronze or white smooth bark throughout.

Juvenile leaves broadly ovate to round; adult discolorous, broadly lanceolate, 9–12 cm long, 2–3.2 cm wide; petiole channelled, 1–2 cm long.
