Note
A variety that is similar to some specimens of Abelia macrotera var. engleriana but differs in its pubescent stems and leathery leaves that are paler abaxially. Myrtilloides referring to the species Vaccinium myrtillus (Ericaceae): bilberries or blaeberries.
Distribution
China, localised in NE Sichuan, North Qinghai Tibetan Plateau (QTP).
Ecology
Unknown; 1,100 – 1,950 m.
Conservation
Vulnerable (VU). 13 collections; AOO = 20 km2; EOO = 1,319 km2; locations = 5; Vulnerable (VU) (B1a, B2a, D2). Protected area: Qianfoshan.
