Leaves 2–5 x 1.8–4.5 cm., with long slender petiole, chartaceous, orbicular or suborbicular, incised-cordate, slightly peltate, lobes rounded, obtuse or acute, divergent, nearly closed or sometimes overlapping, smooth on both surfaces, upper surface dull green, under surface green, reddish or brownish-purple, primary lateral nerves 4–5 on each side of the midrib, impressed, slightly raised or inconspicuous.
