General Description

Pseudobulbes cormoides, charnus et souterrains (de la section). Feuilles 5-6, graminiiformes, argues, paraissant longtemps apres les fleurs. Inflorescence de 30-40 cm. de haut; pedoncule environ 2 fois plus long que la grappe, portant line dizaine de gaines, ies inferieures amples, evasees, courtes et plus rapprochees, les superieures plus longues, plus distantes et plus apprimees; grappe assez lache de 15-25 fleurs brunes sur le vif et sur le sec; bractees aigues, n'egalant pas la moitie de l'ovaire pedicelle. Sepales ovales-obtus, apicules (7-8 X 3,5-4 mm.) a 5 nervures. Petales presque aussi larges que hauts (9x8 mm. env.), suborbiculaires ou tres largement ovales, tres obtus, a 5-7 nervures rouges et tres visibles, les 3 medianes simples, les 2-4 laterales tres ramifiees-reticulees du cote externe. Labelle retreci a la base, trilobe, les lobes lateraux petits et obtus, le median plus grand obcuneiforme et obtus; bords crispesondules; palais orne d'une callosite jaune, constitute par des lignes con fluen ties de petits tubercules; nervures rouges nombreuses et Ires visibles; eperon court, cylindrique, obtus et assez epais. Colonne haute de 3 mm. au plus; anthere munie en arriere, sur le connectif, d'un petit tubercule rougeatre entre 2 petits appendices plats, blancs et obtus.
