Morphology General Habit
Shrub or small tree 5–10 m. high; young branches glabrous but later covered with lenticels.

Leaves imparipinnate; petiole and rachis 10–20(28) cm. long, terete; petiolules 5–17 mm. long in the lower leaflets, and 3–9 cm. long in terminal leaflets; leaflets opposite to partly alternate, elliptic-lanceolate or elliptic-oblong, 6–19 cm. long, 2.5–8.5 cm. broad, acuminate to cuspidate at the apex, obtuse at the base, margin entire and slightly undulate, membranous to chartaceous; lateral nerves 8–10 pairs.
