Leaves drying blackish; blades narrowly elliptic to elliptic, 2.5–7.5 cm. long, 1–3 cm. wide, apex acute or slightly acuminate, base acute, glabrous becoming sparsely pubescent towards the base above and beneath; bacterial nodules small, dot-shaped, few, scattered; petioles 1–2 mm. long, pubescent; stipule-limbs drying greenish grey, membranous, truncate 2–3 mm. long, glabrous.
