Leaf-blades lanceolate-oblong, 9–18 cm. long, 2.5–5.5 cm. wide, apex acute to slightly acuminate, base acute to cuneate, bullate, shiny, glabrous above, finely tomentose with prominent nerves beneath, margins revolute; bacterial nodules small, slightly raised or punctate above, few to numerous, scattered; petiole 0.7–1.4 cm. long, puberulous, stipule-limbs pale buff-coloured, papery, truncate 3–5 mm. deep, puberulous outside, silky hairs absent inside; arista 4.6–8 mm. long.
