Morphology General Habit
Perennial or shrubby perennial herb to 0.5(–1) m tall with several erect to decumbent branched stems from a woody rootstock; stems sparsely to densely puberulous or sericeous-puberulous with a mixture of glands and non-glandular hairs up to 0.5 mm long, no long pilose hairs (very rarely with pilose hairs to 2 mm long)

Leaves ovate to elliptic, largest 2–6.5 × 0.7–3 cm, apex subacute to subacuminate, subglabrous to puberulous, sometimes with stalked capitate glands when young, no long pilose hairs
