Distribution
Recorded only from the NE Brazilian state of Bahia. This taxon may also occur in the neighbouring states of Pernambuco and Paraíba.
Ecology
Harley et al. 16882 cite the habitat as Caatinga, twining over bushes and low trees, but Rapini (pers. comm.) suggests that the localities indicate campos rupestres. Also reported from high rocks with dripping water and by roadside. Alt. 650 - 950 m.
