- Perennial decumbent herb (9–)15–35 cm. tall, much branched from a woody base and with many ascending flowering branches; stems rather densely shortly pubescent.

- Leaf-blades narrowly lanceolate to narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, 1.2–3.1 cm. long, 2–5(–7) mm. wide, acute at the apex, ± rounded at the base, densely shortly pubescent above and on the midvein beneath; stipule-sheath 1–3 mm. long, divided into (1–)2–5 fimbriae, 1.2–3 mm. long.

- Inflorescences often 5-flowered, long-stalked; peduncle 4–12 cm. long, glabrous; pedicels 0.3–2 cm. long.
