Note
Drummond & Hemsley 1943 from Lusunguru Forest, Morogoro District, has the characteristic leaf-shape of this species – and other characters of the species such as the minutely pubescent inflorescence axes, but the flowers are much smaller and resemble those of T. apiculata.
