Morphology General Habit
Herb at least 40 cm. tall but habit not known, probably straggling and perennial; stems somewhat woody at the base, with upwardly directed white adpressed hairs in no way obscuring the brown epidermis.

Leaf-blades oblanceolate, narrowly oblong or narrowly elliptic, 2–7.5 cm. long, 0.3–1.5 cm. wide, abruptly acute at the apex, narrowly cuneate into the petiole, with adpressed ± tubercle-based upwardly directed hairs on both surfaces, sometimes a little spreading on the 1.2 cm. long petioles.

Inflorescences forked, each scorpioid cyme 9 cm. long, the open flowers crowded at apex but after flowers fall the immature fruits are well-spaced with internodes 0.5–1 cm. long; peduncle 6 cm. long, together with axes with similar indumentum to the stems.

Calyx-lobes very unequal, all bristly white hairy, the largest 2.6 mm. long, 0.8 mm. wide, others 2.2 × 0.6, 2 × 0.5 and the smallest linear, 1.8 × 0.2 mm.; tube ± 0.5 mm. long.

Corolla white, tube ± 3 mm. long, constricted below the throat, glabrous at base outside, adpressed white-pubescent above; lobes oblong-elliptic, 1.2 mm. long, 0.8 mm. wide.
