Perennial; caespitose. Culms 20-30 cm long. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 10-17 mm long. Leaf-blades flat, or involute; 5-11 cm long; 2-3 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface glabrous. Leaf-blade apex acute.
