Morphology General Habit
Annual. Culms erect, or geniculately ascending; 10-27 cm long. Culm-nodes brown, or black. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 0.5 mm long. Leaf-blades involute; 6-10 cm long; 1.5-2 mm wide.
