- Diffusely branched decumbent herb 50 cm or more long, rooting at the nodes; internodes 3–5 cm long, hirsute with glandular hairs

- Leaves opposite, petiolate; petiole 1.5–4 cm long; lamina broadly ovate, 1–2 cm long, 1.5–3.5 cm wide, truncate or sometimes subcordate at the base, acute at the apex, margins with 4–8 coarsely broadly dentate-serrate apiculate teeth on each side, laxly hirsute on both sides
