Annual. Culms slender; 20-60 cm long. Leaf-sheaths glabrous on surface, or pilose. Ligule an eciliate membrane. Leaf-blades 4-11 cm long; 2-5 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface glabrous, or pubescent.
