- Note
- Gnidia glauca var. insularis (Gardner) C.C. Townsend, endemic in Sri Lanka, differs from var. glauca in having twigs and leaves ± densely furnished with persistent long appressed hairs. G. glauca is the only species within the genus with this disjunct distribution.
