Leaves ovate to ovate-oblong or obovate, 2.7–4.8 cm long, 1.4–3.9 cm wide, rounded to acute or broadly acuminate at the apex, slightly cordate at the base, margin serrate, lamina bullate, sparsely stellate-pubescent to glabrescent above, stellate-pubescent to sparsely so beneath; petiole 2–3 mm long; stipules caducous.
