Morphology General Habit
Tree up to 10 m. tall or a shrub.
Morphology Leaves
Lamina ± 30 × 30 to ± 90 × 90 cm., 5–7-fid to -parted down to the petiole; segments sessile or stoutly petiolulate, margin rather irregularly (often coarsely and doubly) crenate- to serrate-dentate or -denticulate; upper surface hirtellous to puberulous on the main veins, lower surface whitish hirtellous on the main veins; petiole (15–) 25–55 cm. long, whitish hirtellous; stipules (1.5–)3–5 cm. long, whitish to pale yellow subsericeous or subhirsute.

Pistillate inflorescences 2–3.5 cm., in fruit 6–10(–15) cm. in diameter; peduncle 2–6 cm. long; flowers ± 20–50; apex of the perianth almost flat; endocarp-body ± 1.6 × 0.7 cm.
