Conservation
This is a rarely collected species from a relatively small area. It is reported to be common where it is found. Given that this species is restricted to a small and fragmented area, but that no decline in population is reported, a conservation rating of vulnerable (VUB1) is proposed (IUCN 2001).
Distribution
Peninsular Malaysia: mountains of Pahang and Selangor
Ecology
Growing in primary evergreen forest at 1200 – 1600 m altitude. Flowering from October to November. Fruiting from October to April.
