Morphology General Habit
Slender shrub or shrublet, to 1.7 m tall; young branches puberulous

Leaves alternate on young shoots, otherwise clustered on cushion-like short-shoots, with lamina 2–10 x 1.5–7 mm, narrowing below into a petiole-like base, obtuse at the apex, crenate to subentire, subglabrous to ± densely pubescent with short hairs
