General Description
Stem scandent, internodes 2-3 cm long, 4-5 mm thick, cataphylls lanceolate. LEAVES: Petiole moderately terete, shortly sheathed at base, 16-20 cm long. Blade slightly coriaceous, deltoid-hastate, 10-15 cm long and almost equally broad; Posterior lobes oblong-obtuse, spreading almost horizontally, 5-7 cm long and 3.5-4 cm wide, separated by a very broad, open, slightly rounded sinus; Anterior lobe semi-oblong-lanceolate, 6-7 cm long, apex with a narrow ca. 1 cm long cuspid, posterior ribs arising from the midrib at almost right-angles. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncles 3-4, slender, 2-3 cm long. Spathe 3-3.5 cm long, dirty white, tube narrow, blade equally long. Spadix sessile cylindric-obtuse, 3 cm long, 3-4 mm thick. Female zone 2-3 times shorter than male zone. Pistils short, ca. 0.5 mm long. Usually 5-locular.
