- Morphology General Habit
- A straggling shrub or sometimes a small spreading tree.
- Morphology Leaves
- Leaves closely spirally arranged at the ends of branches, or with internodes of up to 4 cm.; petiole ± as long as lamina, up to 1.5 mm. diameter, glabrous or with some hairs; lamina chartaceous, simple, palmatisect to the middle or beyond, rather small, up to 8 cm. long and 13 cm. wide; lobes 3–5, up to 4.5 cm. long and wide, broadly ovate, acuminate, with serrate margins, glabrous or slightly hairy above and with crisped hairs concentrated along the main veins beneath and at base, more evenly scattered beneath in young leaves.
