Morphology General Habit
Perennial. Rhizomes elongated. Culms erect; 33-50 cm long; 2-3 mm diam.; 3-4 -noded. Leaf-sheaths longer than adjacent culm internode; smooth; glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 3-4 mm long; scarious; truncate. Leaf-blades 11-25 cm long; 4-5 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scaberulous; rough abaxially; glabrous.
